WStonks is an independent product operated from Oregon, United States. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any broker, exchange, fund, issuer, or regulator.

Nothing on WStonks is financial advice, investment advice, a trading recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and no content here is personalised to your circumstances, goals, or risk tolerance.
Everything published is general, impersonal commentary distributed identically to every reader. Consult a licensed professional before making any investment decision.
Market briefs, trade ideas, sector outlooks, volatility forecasts and signals are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) from publicly available data. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, internally inconsistent, or out of date, and it can state incorrect things confidently.
We publish accuracy records for parts of the system precisely because it is not always right. Read them as evidence about a model, not as a promise about your outcome.
Market data comes from Polygon.io, Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, CBOE and FRED. Government and regulatory data comes from public filings including SEC EDGAR, USASpending.gov and STOCK Act congressional disclosures.
Data may be delayed, incomplete, revised, or simply wrong, and upstream feeds fail without warning. Do not use anything here as the sole basis for a trading decision.
The Trade Sim and Brief Book portfolios are hypothetical paper-trading simulations using simulated capital. No real money is invested and no orders are placed. WStonks does not execute trades, hold funds, or connect to any brokerage account.
Simulated results have inherent limitations: they do not reflect real slippage, liquidity, fills, fees, taxes, or the pressure of trading actual capital. They are not an indication of future results.
Any track record, hit rate, or accuracy figure shown reflects historical model output only. Past performance is not indicative of future results. A record that looks good over one period can fail in the next.
An account is optional; most of WStonks is readable without one. If you create one:

The site, its code, design, written analysis, and the models and methodology behind the published forecasts belong to WStonks. Underlying market data belongs to its respective providers.
You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and share links. You may not republish the analysis wholesale or build a competing product from its output.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WStonks and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or trading losses, arising from your use of or reliance on the service — including reliance on AI-generated content.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or US$50. The service is currently free, so for most users that amount is zero.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify WStonks against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of others.
WStonks is currently free, with no paid plans and no payment processing of any kind. If we introduce paid features, we will publish subscription and refund terms before taking any payment, and no existing user will be charged without opting in.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. We may update these terms; the effective date above will change, and material changes will be noticed on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
If you use WStonks from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local law. Nothing here removes consumer rights that your local law makes non-waivable.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force, and the unenforceable provision is applied as closely as the law allows to its original intent.
